Helping Hands at St. Paul's
The Lord has commanded us to "Love one another as I have loved you". We will be looking for each of you to demonstrate in a variety of ways the love and concern of the church family in caring for all of our members - active, inactive and shut-in. Some needs to be filled might be delivery of meals to members who are convalescing after surgery, have a baby, are suffering bereavement, or just in need of a friendly phone call. Joyce Cluley will be working with other leaders to get us started in matching volunteers of all ages with members who could use a "Helping Hand". This new category will be added to our church's Time and Talent Survey, and we encourage you to give it prayerful consideration. Needs may be communicated through our church office at any time.

Angel Tree
Once again we will be working with Project Outreach to help needy children at Christmas. At the end of November, an angel-decorated tree will be in the hallway, ready for willing parishioners to take a card with the Christmas wishes of a needy child. These cards will have the size, toy wishes, age, and sex of some child serviced by Project Outreach in Royersford/Spring City. A family or individual will purchase at least one item on the card and bring the wrapped and labeled gift to church during the first two weeks of December. Volunteers from the Mission Committee will deliver the gifts to a central location where another group of volunteers will sort through them and match the present with the specific child. Please see Linda Stone with questions.

Missions
Our church will again be collecting frozen turkeys for the food bank of Project Outreach in Royersford. Bring the turkeys to the church by November 23rd so that a church volunteer can deliver the turkeys to the freezers of the storage area. Place the turkeys in St. Paul's Church basement freezer. We hope to collect at least twelve turkeys for Thanksgiving distribution and 12 for the Christmas appeal.

Our Worship
As an Episcopal church, we seek to provide both a variety and a balance of the best in evangelical Anglican worship. Our early service offers a consistent form of traditional worship. With no music and a smaller congregation, this is a more quiet and contemplative service. The family services offer more variety and include a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. In each service, the reading and preaching of God's Word are key elements, along with the liturgy. We extend an enthusiastic invitation to all visitors, regardless of your faith background. Nursery and child care are provided for children through age five.

Our Education
Along with worship, Christian education is given a high priority at St. Paul's. The curriculum used with our young people from preschool through grade five is Gospel Light. With our middle-school and high-school youth, we use various materials from  sources such as Gospel Light, Group Ministries, and Youth Specialties. In each case, our primary interest is that they be Bible-based materials which help ground our young people in God's Word. Our Adult Class, typically led by the Rector, covers various subjects, coming from the same perspective of learning from the Scriptures.
>
Additionally, we have two ongoing Bible studies which meet during the week. The Wednesday morning Bible Study, led by the Rector, includes the study and discussion  of various books of the Bible. The Women's Bible Study meets on Thursday mornings, and deals with different themes regarding the Christian faith.

Our Fellowship
The opportunities for fellowship at St. Paul's are many. Two long-standing activities of the parish include our annual Holiday Bazaar in November and our annual Roast Beef  Supper in April. Two more recent additions are the Lenten Suppers and seasonal Family Nights.
