Greetings from the Loft!

The youth group went on a spiritual gifts adventure during the Lenten Family Nights, and learned how middle school students can use the gifts that God has given to them. The gifts the students of Saint Paul.s share: serving, helping, giving, encouragement, teaching, leadership, and faith. A few students had mercy, missionary, and pastoring in their lesser-developed gifts as well. It was a great series, and now we know how we can use our gifts to serve God, the church, and the world.

During Holy Week we viewed The Passion of the Christ, which showed us the last few days of Christ.s life, and it reminded us of Christ.s gift to us.

During Sunday School we have been learning about The Nicene Creed. Each week we studied a section and learned exactly what it meant. Students who memorized The Creed by the April 10 received either a NIV Teen Study Bible or The Beautiful Letdown CD by the band Switchfoot. Winners: David B, Andrew B, and Andrew W.

Wednesday Nights in April we will be doing some lessons out of Psalms and Proverbs, and hopefully spending a lot of time outside! All students in grades 5-8 are invited to come.

Sunday afternoons our high school group has been doing a study in Walking with Jesus. All students in high school are invited to join us at 1:00 on Sundays. We meet until 2pm.

Happy Spring!
